The European REACH regulation governs the registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemical substances within the European Union.

Many materials and products offered by H. Riesbeck comply with REACH requirements and do not contain prohibited or declarable substances above permissible thresholds according to the current SVHC candidate list (Substances of Very High Concern).

Silicone is one of the most versatile elastomers in modern hose and sealing technology.

This material stands out with high temperature resistance, excellent flexibility and physiological safety.

Platinum-cured silicones offer maximum purity and are preferred in sensitive medical and pharmaceutical applications. Peroxide-cured silicones are especially suitable for industrial applications with high temperature requirements.

PTFE is one of the most chemically resistant fluoropolymers worldwide and is widely known under the trade name Teflon™.

The material is ideal for aggressive chemicals, high-purity media and high-temperature applications.
